The Membership Class will meet during the Sunday School Hour in Pastor Brian’s Study.

Confession of Faith Class meets at 2:00 PM in the Library.  Please read Chapter 2.

MONDAY:  3:00 – 7:00 PM – The American Red Cross Mobile will be at the Cedar Grove Middle School.  Please note the location!
6:30 PM – Men’s Ministry Team Meeting in Pastor Brian’s Study.
TUESDAY:  9:00 AM – Prayer Circle meets in the Lounge.  Ann Lammers is the leader.
9:30 PM – Time for Your Heart.
WEDNESDAY:  6:30 PM – Prayer Time meets in the Infant Nursery.
7:30 PM – Table Tennis
THURSDAY:  9:00 AM – MOPS meets in the Church Fellowship Hall.
9:30 AM – Time For Your Heart.
SATURDAY:  Milwaukee Brewers vs. St. Louis Cardinals.  Bus will depart from the church at 1:00 PM.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR EVERYONE!
Attention Brewers game participants. The bus will leave for Miller Park from the church parking lot at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 10.  The game starts at 2:45 PM. We plan to arrive back in Oostburg around 6:00-6:30 PM. Tickets will be handed out the day of the game. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Brian.

Don’t delay in reserving tickets for the Craftsman Truck Race at the Milwaukee Mile on Friday, June 20.  The deadline has been extended to Sunday, May 11th to reserve tickets.  The cost will be $10 per ticket, which will also include a tailgate meal before the race. There is a sign-up sheet at the Information Booth. If you have questions please contact Pastor Brian.  

“Let us run...the race” Hebrews 12:1.  We are all in an incredible race to serve our Savior.  Please be in prayer for Vacation Bible School, August 4-8 as we focus on this truth.  Registration for children 4K through 6th grade will begin next Sunday, May 11th, and end June 15th.  We will again promote an incentive to sign-up early with a weekly gift certificate drawing. Please also pray for individuals willing to serve in the nursery, lead music, teach, coordinate decorations, guide students to activities, help with crafts, games and in the kitchen. NOTE:  There are a few copies of the new RCA Publication, RCA Today, in our church library.  This magazine will be produced three times a year to highlight the mission and ministry of the RCA.  Please stop in our Church Library if you would like to get a copy.

KIDS HOPE DIRECTOR NEEDED:  The Director of Kids Hope is a part-time position 2-4 hours per week approximately 100 hours per year.  If interested in this position, submit letter and resume' or pick up application in the church office.

Our Christian Sympathy is extended to Thad & Julie Gabrielse and family in the loss of Julie’s mother, Carlene Tasche, of Brooksville, FL, on April 23rd and to Martin DeVriend in the loss of his brother, Adrian DeVriend, on April 24th.  We pray God will comfort both of these families in their time of bereavement.

Congratulations to Tom & Dorothy Claerbaut on the birth of a baby girl, Lillian Danielle, born on April 28th.

MAY SPECIAL MISSION ENVELOPES! The offerings received will go for Beth Mentink’s mission trip to Peru from June 1st to July 26th.

REMINDER:  In case of a Tornado Watch or Warning all events at church are canceled.  Events will be held when the watch or warning is canceled one hour or more before the event.

WORDS OF HOPE RADIO BROADCAST – Can be heard on Sunday mornings at 7:30 AM over WJUB-AM 1420.  Next Sunday, May 11th, the message is entitled “Trouble Ahead” – Matthew 10:16-33.
